Uncommon Paradigm – 3D animation version

This is the 3D animated version of Uncommon Paradigm which documented the photographic and video captures of a fictitious space traveller.

The ebook version that was created prior to this animated counterpart is here. Keeping true to the objective set in the ebook version, the animation is made primarily using free or lowcost solutions. The animation is made primarily using Blender 3D, the foremost alternative to commercial 3D modelling, rendering, animation and compositing software. Supporting programs include Makehuman and Movieplus.

On a deeper level, Uncommon Paradigm explores and questions what constitutes a better mode of living. It probes into archetypal symbolism and questions the reliability of appearance as a marker for advancement of civilization and technology. The archetypal symbols are presented as distinct planetary societies.
