Mini repair insect-bots

These small insect-like robots help in repairing electronic devices. They can be deployed in areas where accessibility is hard for a full-sized human repairman. The 4 critters below are busy fixing a faulty communication device.

For this piece, modelling was done in Rhinoceros 3D and Blender3D. The insectbots were created using Blender while the communication device was previously modelled using Rhinoceros 3D.

Yafaray renderer was used for the final rendering via Blender.

Image maps were created using the GIMP.
