			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This piece is for the second edition of <strong>Uncommon Paradigm</strong> which is a free PDF formatted 3D science fiction artbook. One have to read the book to know what this image is about. <a href="http://www.studiorola.com/uncommon-paradigm-3d-artbook/"><strong>Click here to download Uncommon Paradigm Science fiction artbook</strong>.</a></p>
<p>This rendering is created mainly in Blender 2.49. The terrain was initially crafted in <strong><a href="http://www.studiorola.com/tutorials/software-programs/carrara-easy-yet-powerful-3d/">Carrara Pro</a></strong> from a GIMP-created map for displacement. On-wall yegetations were created using Ivy Generator. All other modelling, lighting and texturing works were done within Blender. Image was rendered using Blender&#8217;s internal renderer with image editing done using the in-built node compositor. GIMP was also used for some post-editing.</p>

<p style="text-align: left;">To keep the sketch true to the Uncommon Paradigm ideal of using lowcost or free software, I use GIMP the opensource 2D graphic editor to render the hand-drawn sketches.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Cloud Splitter is a futuristic personal jet that drew inspirations from existing airplanes as well as science fictional machines. It is designed and created for the <strong><a href="http://www.studiorola.com/uncommon-paradigm-3d-artbook/">Uncommon Paradigm 3D Artbook</a></strong>. The artbook is distributed freely as a PDF download.</p>
<p>This scene was made entirely using Blender with some texture maps created using the GIMP. The image is rendered using Blender&#8217;s own internal rendering engine.</p>
<p>The bulk of the airplane was created using subsurfacing and symmetry modelling.</p>
<p>The aircraft body used material nodes for &#8216;multi-coated&#8217; shader and texturing. Composite nodes were used for RGB correction and scene effects such as Depth-of-field.</p>

<p>The earlier work-in-progress included a female human character. However, after receiving feedbacks from other fellow artists, she was excluded from the final render.</p>
